Guacamole!

I really, really love salsa! It gets my adrenaline pumping, my palms sweating, and I can't stop smiling - even while I make a fool of myself (but looking sexy while doing it). I enjoy it tremendously. Because I'm not afraid to get out on the dance floor, I get to partner up with many different leads, each one teaching me something new - either by silence example, or actually giving me constructive pointers on what I can do differently or also. I still want to take a class to learn what exactly I'm doing out there, but I need to see what my schedule for the moisture festival will be first.

And oh, do my feet hurt right now.

Sunday...

- Deep cleaned my kitchen, carpet, and kitty areas.
- Bought new kitty litter (it has crystals!!!!) and cat food (now with even MORE PROTEIN!!!!).
- Had lunch with my two girlfriends, Amanda and Megan, filling up on bubble tea for dessert.
- Attempted to sign up for a TWIC card, only to learn that I've already signed up and forgotten my password - as well as the answer to the security question.
- Payed off the last of my medical credit card... I feel very broke right now.

hilarious and useful!

The Moisture Festival!!!!!!

http://www.moisturefestival.org/

I went to their fist volunteer meeting for this year, and I am super excited. The head of security even recognized me from last year (I was a door-babe for one performance) and told me I was the best babe he's ever seen! lol. Too sweet.

high speed chase!!!

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2008746374_freewaycrash15m0.html

I was driving with Danny yesterday on the highway, and saw a car cut off the one in front of me, followed by (what Danny says was) 15 police cars. It was pretty awesome.

End Days, at The Seattle Public Theater

I just got back from freezing my tookus off out by Greenlake. I was that far from home on this dark winter Thursday seeing a play at the Bathhouse. It was about this dysfunctional Jewish family, with a born-again-Evangelical-crazy mom, a moody-Goth-pot smoking daughter (kinda the main character, who talks to Steven Hawking when she's high), a clinically depressed dad who won't change out of his pj's - and the annoying neighbor boy who has a crush on the daughter, is obsessed with science and math, and has worn an Elvis jumpsuit since he was six. The mom believes (because she talks to Jesus when she's stressed and he told her so ---- it was so funny! the same actor who played Jesus [yes, he was in the play too] also played Steven Hawking) that the world will end on Wednesday. That the 'saved' will ascend to heaven leaving those who have not repented behind. Quite a family dynamic.

Anyway, stuff happened, characters were developed and plots thickened - and the 'end' did not come (big shocker there), all the while each character learns a little more about love and family ....awww. Okay, it was a little cheesy, and they even sang part of a Hoftorah, but I had a few good laughs and the annoying neighbor character totally remind me of Danny - not in an annoying way, but in a 'talks a lot when excited and gets very energetic about things that push his buttons - kind of way.

Very cute.
