Have been spent a-taveling with Danny in his Toyota station-wagon(aka the Pimp-Wagon).
Together we visited his mom for Christmas, took long walks on the beach, experienced the happiest place on Earth (Disneyland), took lots of pictures at the San Diego Zoo, visited Kevin, Taz and Tsum-Tsum, and admired their amazing leather couch, hiked Torey Pines, ate lots of burgers, fed sea-gulls, bought a boat (yea Danny!), visited the city by the bay and lodged at the Green Tortoise Hostel (my favorite), got lost in China Town looking for pho, enjoyed each others' company at a couple of swanky restaurants in Little Italy, drove until next year, said hello to an old friend and a new city (at least for me: Portland, OR) and made it back home safely and in time for the Sunday markets in Seattle.
Whew... What a trip! :)

ReplyDeleteSo P-town is da best! The Green Tortoise is my fave, even though I never rode it or stayed in the Hostel - is the bus still running? Trip sounds awesome.
